In Case Of Fire are the most hotly tipped new band in British rock, and the perfect way to kick-start the main stage at this year's Hevy Music Festival.

Formed in 2005, the Irish rockers are a new venture by Raw Power Management, who also manage bands such as Funeral for a Friend, Bullet For My Valentine, Iron Maiden and Gallows. The line-up consists of brothers Steven (vocals and guitar) and Colm Robinson (drums), completed with Mark Williamson (bass).

They have toured with Funeral for a Friend, Cancer Bats, Queens of the Stone Age, 30 Seconds to Mars as well as playing shows with Biffy Clyro, Ash and Kids in Glass Houses. To date the band have performed at various festivals including Download, Oxegen, T in the Park and Reading / Leeds. The band have received high praise from Kerrang! magazine with editor Paul Brannigan, describing them as "The best new band I've heard in ages".

Their musical style has been described as 'alternative rock' with 'progressive' and 'metal' influences, and they are often compared to Muse, Queens of the Stone Age and Mars Volta. The band won MTV2's 'Spanking New' competition, coming out on top of acts including Adele, Foals, Black Kids and Lykke Li to be the 'viewer's choice of bands to watch out for in 2008'.

To date the band have released two singles 'This Time We Stand' and 'The Cleansing' and are set to release their debut album 'Align the Planets' on May 11th 2009. Catch them at the Hevy Music Festival before they take over the world...!
