After The Ordeal are a five piece Progressive Rock/Screamo Metal band from Gravesend & Barnehurst in Kent. They formed in August 2008, played their first show a month later and have gigged relentlessly since then. They went on their first UK Tour during March and April '09 and they have numerous tours booked for Summer '09 as well as many one-off shows and Festivals. ATO's Debut EP is released on June 29th entitled 'A Means To An End' and will be available worldwide on Itunes, Napster and Rhapsody stores.

After The Ordeal are quickly becoming one of the UK's hottest young talents (young being a key word there as 3 of the bands members are under the legal drinking age!) picking up new fans everywhere they play and gaining a reputation for having one of the tightest and intense live shows on the UK's underground gigging scene. Their music is hard to put into one single genre as their influences and tastes are very varied, and this reflects in the high calibre of different styles they can produce in their music.

They are the first band ever to stream a live performance to a major music festival. Energy drink company Red Bull picked them from hundreds of other unsigned UK Bands to film and stream a live set from one of the members bedrooms directly to Download Festival 2009 at Donington Park. The live set was aired on the main stage big screens in front of over 60,000 festival goers between sets from Dance Rock band Pendulum and Goth Rocker Marilyn Manson's sets!

Expect to see more of this exceptional new talent over the next 12 months as they have many things planned including new recordings, more tours & festivals and international dates planned for 2010!
